Responsibilities:

Identify and evaluate opensource alternatives to licensed enterprise platforms

Design reference architecture and deployment models for the new platform ecosystem

Lead technical proofofconcepts and validate scalability and performance before production rollout

Build Kubernetesbased data platform

Required skills

Platform Design

Expertise in designing and implementing distributed data platforms

Understanding of opensource ecosystems and evaluation of community maturity

Cloud native technologies

Robust experience with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes

Experience designing scalable and resilient cloudnative applications

Evaluation Benchmarking

Ability to conduct proofofconcepts and performance benchmarking

Experience comparing enterprise platforms with opensource alternatives
