Essential Skills

1.Analyze business requirements, functional specifications,



and technical documents to understand application behavior.
2.Design and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test data for functional and non-functional testing.
3.Perform manual testing including Smoke, Sanity, Regression, Integration, System, and UAT.
4.Identify, log, track, and verify defects using bug tracking tools (JIRA / Mantis).
5.Work closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
6.Re-test defects and ensure timely closure with proper validation.
7.Validate data integrity using SQL queries and backend checks.
8.Perform API testing using tools like Postman and Soap UI (if applicable).
9.Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives).
10.Ensure test coverage, quality metrics, and release readiness.
11.Prepare and share test reports, defect metrics, and status updates with stakeholders.
12.Support production releases and perform post-release validat
