Fabrication Fitter – Roles & Responsibilities

Location: Chakan, Pune

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and understand fabrication/engineering drawings.
- Perform marking, cutting, drilling, grinding and fitting of MS/SS components.
- Assemble fabricated parts as per drawing and required dimensions.
- Perform alignment, leveling and dimensional checking using measuring tools.
- Carry out tack welding and coordinate with welders for final welding.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely.
- Identify and rectify fitting, alignment and fabrication defects.
- Coordinate with Welders, Production and Quality teams.
- Maintain required quality standards and production targets.
- Follow 5S, PPE and shop-floor safety procedures.
- Maintain proper housekeeping at the work area.

Required Skills:




- ITI Fitter / relevant technical qualification preferred.
- 2–5 years’ experience in fabrication/fitting.
- Valuable knowledge of fabrication tools and equipment.
- Ability to read fabrication drawings.
- Knowledge of MS, SS and basic welding processes.
- Good knowledge of Vernier, measuring tape, try square, spirit level, etc.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹29,039.21 per month
