Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic WordPress Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of WordPress, website development, and web technologies. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in creating, updating, maintaining, and optimizing WordPress websites while working with experienced developers and designers.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining WordPress websites.
- Create and update website pages, content, images, and other web elements.
- Work with WordPress themes, plugins, widgets, and page builders.
- Assist in customizing WordPress themes and templates.
- Perform basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript modifications.
- Support website maintenance, bug fixing, and troubleshooting.
- Assist with installing, configuring, and updating WordPress plugins.
- Ensure websites are responsive and compatible across different browsers and devices.
- Assist in implementing basic SEO best practices on WordPress websites.
- Optimize website content, images, and basic website performance.




- Coordinate with designers, developers, and content teams to implement website updates.
- Perform basic website testing and quality checks.
- Stay updated with WordPress features, plugins, trends, and web development practices.

Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of WordPress CMS.
- Understanding of HTML and CSS.
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript is an advantage.
- Familiarity with WordPress themes and plugins.
- Basic understanding of responsive web design.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Positive communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and web development practices.

Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of PHP and MySQL.
- Familiarity with Elementor or other WordPress page builders.
- Understanding of basic SEO concepts.
- Knowledge of Git/version control is a plus.
- Experience with creating or managing a personal/academic WordPress website
