Role & responsibilities
- ITI in Fitter, Tool & Die Maker, Turner, Machinist, or related trade.
- Hands-on experience in maintenance, repair, servicing, assembly, and fitting of press tools, dies, and fixtures.
- Robust knowledge of tool dismantling, inspection, repair, fitting, alignment, and reassembly.
- Experience in preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance of tools and dies.
- Ability to perform fitting, filing, grinding, drilling, tapping, cutting, and polishing operations.
- Good understanding of die clearance, alignment, fitting accuracy, and tool assembly.
- Ability to read and interpret tool drawings, assembly drawings, and engineering drawings.
- Proficient in using measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge,



and Gauges.
- Experience in tool modifications, die corrections, and continuous improvement activities.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for tool breakdowns and production support.
- Knowledge of 5S, safety standards, and quality requirements in a tool room environment.
- Ability to maintain tool maintenance records and repair history documentation.
- Candidates from Automotive, Auto Components, Sheet Metal, Press Shop, Tool Room, Die Manufacturing, or Engineering Manufacturing Industries will be preferred.
