Your impact

The Apprentice Program is designed to provide hands-on, real-world experience through structured on-the-job training within live projects. Apprentices will work closely with Jacobs' senior professionals and project managers, gaining exposure to technical practices, project delivery processes, and organizational culture.

This position is an Apprentice role under the Government of India’s Apprentices Act, 1961, and is part of a structured 1-year training program. As per the regulations and eligibility criteria prescribed under the Act,



Jacobs is required to adhere to the government-mandated guidelines for apprentice engagement. Therefore, it is mandatory for all applicants to meet the specified eligibility requirements.

Job responsibility :
- Undertake and successfully complete all technical and such other trainings as identified / allotted.
- Learn, understand and apply all aspects of waste water design and modelling including implications and impact of various codal provisions (for multiple regions) and preparation of specifications and technical reports.
- Undertake and assist in basic engineering and planning tasks, such as design works, preparing engineering calculations and drawings, modelling of engineering behavior, etc., as an originator with minimum guidance from team members.
- Taking responsibilities for their own work and producing higher quality technical output.
- Ability to listen, understand and follow instructions.
