Job Description – CAD Technician (Highway/Road)
Job Location: Bangalore

Position: CAD Technician – Highway/Road

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and modify highway and road design drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant CAD software.
Produce detailed engineering drawings, plans, layouts, cross-sections, profiles, and construction details.
Support engineers in the development of road and highway infrastructure projects.
Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, client standards, and industry codes.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to incorporate design changes and resolve drafting issues.
Maintain drawing documentation and revision records throughout the project lifecycle.
Deliver high-quality CAD outputs within project timelines.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Experience in highway/road drafting and detailing.
Good understanding of road geometry, alignments,



cross-sections, grading, and construction drawings.
Knowledge of relevant engineering standards and drafting practices.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Positive communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Civil 3D or OpenRoads Designer will be an added advantage.
Exposure to international infrastructure projects is preferred.
Experience Required:
Relevant experience as a CAD Technician in Highway/Road projects.
Experience in infrastructure consulting or engineering projects is preferred.
Educational Qualification:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Certification in AutoCAD or other CAD software is an added advantage.
