JD :
- The Main responsibility of the role is procurement of Engineering Material products at the right time with appropriate inventory management as per agreed target.
- Who have handle material procurement in their daily operations:
- Responsible for indirect material Procurement
- Responsible for procurement of Material required for Maintenance Department
- Responsible for all mechanical items eg. Machined components, Casting Components, Forged Components all consumables
- Procurements for sourcing Hydraulics & Pneumatics i.e. Pumps, Motors, Cylinders, Filters, Valves.
- Procurement of M.S. S.S round rods Plates, Fasteners etc.
- Procurement of electrical & Electronic Components
- Vendor qualification process
- Over all Supplier Management Responsibility for operational task: Forecast updates Orders (purchase orders, re-scheduling)
- Delivery follow-up with supplier Invoicing process Logistics and re-analysis coordination. To be main point of contact for operative tasks both towards the supplier and internally within the company.




- Participation in internal cross-functional meetings related to operative purchasing issues Providing timely information internally regarding product availability.
- Supporting the Manager responsible for Supplier and category management and development
- Maintaining and updating product information for purchased products. Raising purchase order and coordinate with suppliers for timely supplies. Check the indent and communicate with related department for required material and service.
- Candidate should have positive experience in Chemical & API Engineering Material Purchase.
- Communicate with existing and new suppliers for enquiry and quotation. Price negotiation and ensure efficient acquisition of goods at fair price.
- Placing purchase order and follow up with the supplier and transporter for timely material stock maintenance, Vendor development, New product development. Need to take care of reject material which includes re-booking of
