*The role would be responsible for Costing and Supply Chain Management of Brought Out Parts & RM.*

The key responsibilities of the role include:
- Responsible for procurement of Plastic & Metal components of luggage
- Responsible for supporting the high volume production for sourcing the parts on time.
- Exposure to procurement of plastic items and CRCA steel items.
- Hands on expertise on Part Costing Zero Base & Should be Costing.
- Vendor development and negotiation.
- Inventory management.
- Handling sourcing through identification of cost effective vendors/suppliers for procurement with an aim of reducing cost while improving quality & reliability.
- Coordinating with other departments for material requirement planning, material procurement & purchase planning, ensuring continuous supply.
- Assessing the performance of the vendors based on various criterions such as quality systems, rejections, quality improvement rate, timely delivery etc.




- Developing quality culture at vendors end through auditing and guidance.
- Continuous cost reduction in material procurement through negotiation.
- Generating savings with Alternate supplier development, VAVE, Resourcing, Negotiation
- Import of components and RM with all process thorough knowledge of logistics & custom clearance.

Skills & Attributes
- Strong Costing & Supplier negotiation Skills.
- Solid SAP MM and Microsoft office knowledge.
- Should be Self driven & Team Player, Good interpersonal/communication skills
- Deep Understanding of GST and taxations related to purchase
- Exposure of working in a similar role in Luggage/Automotive/FMCG Industries is preferable
