Preferred candidate profile

We have following urgent needs in India preferably in Chennai, Kolkata, but any other remote locations are also ok with larger towns preferred, where we can do a F2F interview as well (Hyderabad, Blore, Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Bhuvaneswar, Coimbatore, Jaipur etc.).
- Since these are immediate hiring requirements, early joiners will be given preference. We need Joiners who can join between 1-3 weeks max.
- Please share relevant profiles at the earliest, ensuring candidates meet the mandatory skill requirements before scheduling interviews. They need to have proper screen sharing set up (have seen some issues with MacBooks in the past) and also clear mandate that they must not have multiple monitors during the interview.
- Interview Process 1 round of Internal interview, 1 F2F meeting (mandatory), 2 client rounds of technical interviews.

Mandatory Skills
- 8+ years of experience writing, analyzing, and optimizing SQL for large-scale enterprise databases.




- 5+ years of experience with Amazon Redshift and/or Amazon RDS PostgreSQL.
- Solid expertise in PostgreSQL query performance tuning, execution plan analysis, indexing strategies, statistics, partitioning, and database optimization.
- Experience writing PL/pgSQL stored procedures, functions, and database scripts.
- Experience with Database Administration activities in PostgreSQL and/or Redshift.
- Strong understanding of Data Warehouse architecture and Star/Snowflake schema design.
- Experience with Git, DevOps practices, and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI and/or Web Intelligence (WebI).
- Hands-on experience with AWS technologies including S3, Lambda, EMR, EC2, Kubernetes, Kinesis, etc.
- Linux development experience.
- Experience building and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines.
