Role Overview

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Design Engineer with 1 to 2 years of professional industry experience to join our hardware team. You will play a crucial role in bringing our autonomous multi-domain platforms to life, moving beyond entry-level tasks to actively drive conceptualization, detailed CAD modeling, physical prototyping, and final assembly.

Key Responsibilities

3D Modeling & Drafting:



Create and maintain detailed 3D models, complex structural assemblies, and production-ready 2D manufacturing drawings using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).

Component Design: Drive the conceptualization and detailed design of rugged hardware, including structural frames, pressure housings, sensor mounts, and propulsion integrations.

Engineering Analysis: Conduct structural, thermal, and fluid dynamics simulations (FEA/CFD) on critical system components to validate designs for harsh environments.

Prototyping & Fabrication: Manage aspects of the physical prototyping phase, including 3D printing, and independently collaborate with vendors for precision machining and sheet metal fabrication.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate closely with electronics and software teams to ensure sensors, cameras, and PCBs fit securely inside watertight and weather-sealed enclosures.
