Role Description
The Safety Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bhavnagar, supporting ship recycling and related industrial operations. The Safety Officer will monitor work areas and processes to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations,



and company policies. Daily responsibilities include conducting safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits; identifying hazards; and recommending corrective actions. The role involves leading safety briefings, toolbox talks, and training sessions for employees and contractors, as well as maintaining safety records, incident reports, and regulatory documentation. The Safety Officer will collaborate with operations, HR, and management to promote a strong safety culture, oversee emergency preparedness, coordinate accident investigations, and support security-related protocols within the facility.

Qualifications
- Solid knowledge of Health & Safety and Occupational Health regulations and best practices in industrial or recycling environments.
- Experience in Accident Investigation, incident reporting, and root-cause analysis to drive corrective and preventive actions.
