Role & responsibilities
The role will be responsible for developing and implementing global EHS strategy, standards, systems, and governance while ensuring compliance with applicable local and international regulations. The position will drive risk reduction, operational safety, environmental performance, employee wellbeing, sustainability, and continuous improvement across the organization.
Develop and execute the global EHS strategy, policies, standards, and annual roadmap aligned with business objectives.
Establish a common EHS management framework across countries while allowing for local regulatory requirements.
Ensure compliance with applicable occupational health & safety, environmental, fire, process safety, and statutory regulations.
Lead enterprise-wide risk assessment, hazard identification, critical-risk management, and mitigation programs.
Establish and monitor global EHS KPIs, including fatalities, LTIFR/TRIR, near misses,
high-potential incidents, environmental performance, and compliance.
Drive a strong Zero Harm / Safety Culture through leadership engagement, behavioural safety, training, communication, and accountability.
Preferred candidate profile
Qualified EHS qualification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, CSP, CIH, CMIOSH, or equivalent international certification.
Typically 1520+ years of EHS experience, with significant experience in multinational/global organizations.
EHS Exposure to Transmission Line industry
Proven experience leading EHS across multiple countries, sites, cultures, and regulatory environments.
Experience with major incident investigation, enterprise risk management, audits, contractor safety, and environmental management.
