Role & responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations.
- Handle inward, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Maintain accurate inventory and conduct stock audits/cycle counts.
- Monitor FIFO/FEFO and minimize stock damage, shortages, and wastage.
- Manage warehouse staff, shifts, productivity, and manpower.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Sales, Logistics, Production, and Accounts teams.
- Manage WMS/ERP/SAP-based inventory transactions.
- Ensure proper warehouse layout and space utilization.
- Track KPIs such as inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, dispatch accuracy, and turnaround time.
- Ensure compliance with safety, 5S, and company SOPs.
- Handle documentation, MIS reports, and inventory reconciliation.
