About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Confluent Kafka Developer to design, build, and support real time data processing solutions across the organization. This is a hands-on role for someone who has worked deep inside the Confluent Kafka ecosystem and is comfortable owning critical, always-on applications end to end, from architecture through production troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver real time data processing solutions using Kafka for a range of business use cases
- Work hands-on with core Confluent Kafka components including brokers, zookeepers, connectors, schema registry, and Flink
- Install and configure Confluent Source and Sink connectors to move data reliably between applications
- Write and maintain Flink code to support various streaming use cases
- Handle complex, non-structured data formats including nested JSON and Avro




- Build and support solutions within the AWS cloud setting, working with services like S3, Lambda, and RDS
- Support 24/7 critical applications, including on-call troubleshooting of Kafka incidents
- Lead problem management for Kafka related issues, covering timely identification, resolution, and root cause analysis
- Document best practices and standards for Kafka components and guide the wider team in following them

Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Confluent Kafka, including support for 24/7 critical applications
- Strong expertise across Kafka brokers, zookeepers, connectors, schema registry, and Flink
- Proven experience configuring Source and Sink connectors for application integration
- Practical experience writing Flink code for streaming use cases
- Comfort working with complex, non-structured data such as nested JSON and Avro
