Role: Inventory & Operations Executive
Job Summary

Responsible for managing inventory control and day-to-day operational activities across warehouses, showrooms, stores, and other stock locations. The role ensures accurate stock records, smooth material movement, timely replenishment, effective coordination between departments, and adherence to company SOPs.

Key ResponsibilitiesInventory Management

· Monitor and maintain accurate inventory of fabrics, sarees, garments, accessories, packing materials, and finished products.

· Maintain accurate ERP/system stock, physical stock, and location-wise inventory records.

· Conduct regular physical stock counts, cycle counts, and stock reconciliation.

· Identify and investigate stock shortages, excesses, damages, wrong entries, and stock variances.

· Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment based on sales and operational requirements.

· Track fast-moving, slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete inventory.

· Ensure proper barcode, tagging, item coding, and location management.

· Monitor stock transfers between warehouse,



showroom, branches, and other locations.

· Verify inward and outward stock transactions and supporting documents.

· Coordinate with the Audit Team during stock audits and ensure timely closure of discrepancies.

Textile-Specific Inventory Control

· Monitor stock by fabric type, design, color, shade, lot/batch, size, GSM, and other applicable specifications.

· Ensure proper segregation of different textile categories and lots.

· Monitor storage conditions to prevent staining, moisture damage, shade variation, fabric deterioration, or physical damage.

· Coordinate with Quality Teams regarding rejected, damaged, or non-conforming materials.

· Maintain proper traceability of high-value products such as silk sarees and premium fabrics.

Operations Management

· Coordinate daily operations between Warehouse, Showroom, Purchase, Sales, Merchandising, Production, Quality, Accounts, and Dispatch
