Role Overview
We’re looking for a Customer Acquisition Intern (Social & Community) to help us acquire paying customers for our products by actively engaging on social media platforms and relevant online communities.
You’ll work directly with the Founder to scout opportunities, participate in discussions, draft outreach that drives conversions, and turn conversations into paid subscriptions from founders, product managers, and SaaS teams who need better customer feedback tools and content management solutions.
This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on experience in early-stage SaaS customer acquisition through community-led and social outreach, with direct impact on revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and discover active online communities and social platforms (Reddit, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Indie Hackers, Product Hunt, startup forums, etc.) where founders, PMs, and SaaS teams discuss product challenges
- Engage in discussions by posting helpful comments, answering questions, and identifying warm opportunities to introduce our products
- Draft and publish community posts, threads, replies, and DM outreach that naturally guide potential users toward trying and upgrading to paid plans
- Submit our products to relevant SaaS directories, product listing sites, and startup communities
- Create tailored content (posts, mini-case studies, responses) and experiment with tones/formats to maximize paid conversions
- Track all efforts meticulously — traffic, sign-ups, and especially paying customers — and report weekly on wha
