Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Store Manager to manage the complete store and material management operations of an Ethanol Distillery Plant. The position will be responsible for material receipt, inspection coordination, storage, inventory control, material issuance, stock reconciliation, documentation, and coordination with Purchase, Accounts, Maintenance, Production, Projects, and other departments.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the plant store, warehouse, and material yards.
- Receive incoming materials and verify quantity, specifications, purchase order, challan, and other supporting documents.
- Coordinate with QA/QC, Purchase, Engineering, Maintenance, and User Departments for material inspection and acceptance.
- Maintain proper records of GRN/MRN, material inward, material outward, issue slips, return notes, and stock registers.
- Ensure proper storage and identification of spares, consumables, electrical items, mechanical items, instrumentation items, chemicals, tools, safety items, and general stores materials.




- Maintain accurate physical and ERP-based inventory records.
- Issue materials only against duly approved Material Requisition / Indent.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and coordinate with Purchase for timely replenishment.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and stock reconciliation.
- Identify and report shortages, excess stock, damaged materials, obsolete items, and slow-moving inventory.
- Maintain proper bin locations, item codes, labeling, and material classification.
- Ensure proper storage conditions for materials that require special handling or environmental controls.
- Maintain records of critical and insurance spares required for uninterrupted plant operations.
- Coordinate with Maintenance and Production teams for timely availability of critical spares and consumables.
