Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Merchandiser to join our garment manufacturing/export team in Tiruppur. The candidate will assist the Senior Merchandiser in handling customer orders, sampling, costing, production follow-up, material coordination and timely shipment.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Senior Merchandiser in handling orders from development to shipment.
- Coordinate with buyers/customers regarding order details, specifications, approvals and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and maintain order sheets, costing sheets and production-related documents.
- Follow up on sample development, sample approvals and buyer comments.
- Coordinate with Sampling, Production, Quality, Purchase, Stores and PPC departments.
- Follow up on fabric, trims, accessories and other production requirements.
- Monitor daily production progress and update order status.
- Identify delays or production issues and report them to the Senior Merchandiser.
- Assist in costing and maintain accurate order details.




- Follow up on quality requirements and buyer specifications.
- Coordinate packing, dispatch and shipment schedules.
- Maintain T&A; calendars, order trackers and MIS reports.
- Ensure orders are completed within the required quality, quantity, cost and delivery timelines.
- Perform other merchandising-related duties assigned by management.

Skills & Qualifications
- Any Degree / Diploma in Textile, Fashion, Apparel, Garment Technology or related field preferred.
- 0–3 years of experience in garment merchandising; freshers with good communication and computer skills can also apply.
- Basic knowledge of garment manufacturing and production processes.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Good English communication and email-writing skills.
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
- Positive attention to detail and time-management skills.
- Ability to work with multiple departments and meet deadlines.
