Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct individualized learning and developmental activities.
- Ensure child safety, supervision and active engagement.
- Prepare lesson plans and maintain progress/observation records.
- Monitor and document each childs development and behaviour.
- Communicate progress and concerns to the Centre Head and parents as per guidelines.
- Prepare teaching aids and maintain classroom materials.
- Attend teacher meetings and training sessions.
- Handle behavioural challenges appropriately and report incidents promptly.
- Maintain classroom discipline, cleanliness and proper documentation.
- Follow BLC SOPs, HR policies and management instructions.

Preferred candidate profile
- Qualification in Special Education / Montessori / Early Childhood Education / Primary Education or a related field.
- Experience working with children with developmental or learning needs will be an advantage.
- Valuable communication, patience, empathy and classroom management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with therapists, teachers and Centre Head.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to individualized teaching approaches.
