Role: We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to drive sales and business development for Diesel Generators (DG Sets) in the Dhanbad region. The ideal candidate must have 4 to 5 years of relevant sales experience specifically in the Generator/DG Set industry and should have strong knowledge of the DG market, dealer network, customers, and project sales.

Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for DG Sets.
- Develop new business opportunities and generate leads across the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, dealers, consultants, contractors, and channel partners.
- Identify potential markets and customers for DG Set requirements.
- Handle enquiries, prepare commercial proposals, negotiate, and close sales.
- Develop and strengthen the dealer/channel partner network in the assigned region.
- Visit customers and project sites regularly to understand requirements and provide suitable DG Set solutions.
- Coordinate with the technical, service, commercial,



and operations teams for smooth execution of orders.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, pricing, and customer requirements.
- Ensure timely follow-up on quotations, orders, payments, and collections.
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline, CRM activities, and daily work reports.
- Achieve collection targets along with sales targets.
- Provide regular market and sales updates to the management.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and develop long-term business relationships.

Preferred candidate profile:
- Graduate/MBA in Sales & Marketing or equivalent qualification preferred.
- 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in Diesel Generator (DG Set) / Generator Sales only.
- Candidates from unrelated industries will not be preferred.
