Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and target-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive business growth and referral generation across Chennai. The candidate will be responsible for developing relationships with doctors, hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centres and other healthcare professionals and generating new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities within the assigned Chennai territory.
- Build and maintain strong skilled relationships with doctors, clinics, hospitals and diagnostic centres.
- Conduct regular field visits and doctor/healthcare professional meetings.
- Generate patient referrals and business leads through professional networks.
- Identify potential doctors, hospitals, clinics and referral partners.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with existing referral sources.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly business development targets.




- Develop and maintain a strong database of doctors and healthcare contacts.
- Track market activities and competitor movements.
- Participate in medical camps, awareness programmes and promotional activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams regarding leads, referrals and conversions.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly field visit and business development reports.
- Support the organization in expanding its healthcare referral network.

Required Qualifications
- Any Graduate.
- 2–5 years of experience in pharma, diagnostics, healthcare, hospitals, medical devices or related industries.
- Strong existing doctor/healthcare professional contacts in Chennai is highly preferred.
- Experience in field sales/business development will be preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building ability.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated.
- Willingness to travel across Chennai
