Key: This is a software development and automation-focused DevOps role, not a traditional infrastructure administration position. We are looking for candidates who are strong in coding, automation and DevOps engineering. Candidates whose experience is primarily limited to server/infrastructure administration without strong hands-on development and automation experience will not be the right fit.
Design, develop and implement DevOps automation solutions from requirement and solution design through production deployment.
Develop and maintain production-grade code, with Python preferred. Candidates with strong hands-on programming experience in other relevant languages may also be considered.
Build and maintain automation using Ansible, SaltStack or equivalent configuration-management/orchestration tools.
Develop, configure and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or equivalent tools.
Troubleshoot failed jobs, review logs, commit and push code changes, and support deployments across QA and production environments.
Work extensively with AWS in hybrid/cloud environments.
Perform advanced Linux administration, troubleshooting and production support.
Participate in solution and architecture discussions and ensure proposed solutions align with enterprise standards and guidelines.
Take ownership of projects end-to-end, from design and development through testing, peer review and production deployment.
Provide technical guidance to junior team members and support them with technical challenges.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and demonstrate strong communication, ownership and problem-solving skills.

510 years of relevant experience in DevOps, automation and software engineering.
Strong hands-on software development and real-time coding experience in production/project environments.
Python is preferred; strong experience with another relevant programming language may also be considered.
