Technical Skills

Good working knowledge of SAP, particularly finance/inventory-related transactions

Advanced/Valuable Excel knowledge Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, etc.

Preparation and analysis of purchase cost

Preparation and analysis of sales cost

Stock book and inventory accounting knowledge is mandatory

Reconciliation of physical stock with book stock

Knowledge of material consumption and inventory valuation

Monthly MIS preparation and reporting

Basic knowledge of cost accounting, variance analysis and manufacturing costing

Key Responsibilities

Prepare monthly purchase and sales cost statements.

Maintain and verify stock/inventory records.

Reconcile SAP stock with physical stock and stock books.

Analyze material consumption and cost variances.

Prepare monthly MIS reports for management.

Ensure correct SAP entries relating to inventory and costing.

Assist in monthly closing and cost accounting activities.

Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, Production, Sales and Finance departments.

Essential: Strong inventory/stock accounting + SAP + Excel knowledge.

Qualification

B.Com / M.Com

ICWAI/ CMA Intermediate preferred
