Support the design, development, validation, and release of vehicle closure systems while ensuring quality, cost, weight, timing, and regulatory compliance targets are met.

Key Responsibilities
- Support engineering, design, development, and product release of closure components.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and global stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with homologation and regulatory requirements.
- Support cost, weight, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in supplier development, validation, issue resolution, and product launches.
- Contribute to standardization, benchmarking, and best-practice implementation.
- Assist in source package development and engineering change management.

Required Qualifications
- BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in Mechanical, Automotive, or Electrical Engineering.
- 8 to 10 years of automotive design and development experience.




- 8 to 12 years of experience in closure systems design.

Key Skills
- Design and feasibility of Hoods, Fenders, Side Doors, Liftgates/Tailgates, Hardware, Sealing Systems, Door Modules, and Manual Tops.
- Solid knowledge of sheet metal, stamping, hemming, sealing, and mechanisms.
- Experience with UG NX/CATIA and Teamcenter/PLM.
- Supplier coordination, technical reviews, and problem-solving.
- Vehicle integration, CFT collaboration, and OEM product development experience.
- Understanding of homologation and regulatory requirements.

Success Measure

Deliver closure system programs on time while meeting quality, cost, weight, and launch milestone targets.
