We are looking for a skilled Dell Laptop Hardware Troubleshooting Engineer with hands-on experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing Dell laptops and notebooks. The candidate should possess robust hardware diagnostic skills, component-level fault isolation knowledge, and experience handling warranty, RMA, and field service activities. The role requires expertise in identifying and resolving hardware failures while ensuring high-quality customer support and service standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot Dell laptops and notebooks for hardware-related issues.
- Troubleshoot No Power, No POST, No Boot, No Display, overheating, battery, charging, and intermittent issues.
- Perform component-level isolation of motherboard, RAM, SSD/HDD, CPU, GPU, display, keyboard, touchpad, Wi-Fi, speakers, webcam, and USB ports.
- Perform hardware diagnostics using Dell SupportAssist/ePSA diagnostics and interpret error codes.
- Troubleshoot BIOS/UEFI, firmware, driver,



and hardware interaction issues.
- Use multimeter, power supply, and basic electronic troubleshooting tools when required.
- Inspect connectors, cables, ports, and boards for physical damage or loose connections.
- Perform FRU replacement such as motherboard, RAM, SSD, battery, LCD, keyboard, fan, heatsink, and other replaceable parts.
- Follow ESD and hardware safety procedures during laptop disassembly and repair.
- Verify the system after repair by performing functional and diagnostic tests.
- Document troubleshooting steps, findings, replaced parts, and resolution in the ticketing system.
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to L2/L3 engineering teams with proper technical details.
- Support RMA, warranty, field-service, and customer-reported hardware failures.
- Maintain troubleshooting records and contribute to recurring-issue/root-cause analysis.
