Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor
industrial boilers
safely and efficiently.
- Handle boiler
start-up, shutdown, pressure and temperature monitoring
.
- Perform routine
inspection, preventive and breakdown maintenance
.
- Monitor
steam pressure, water level, fuel consumption and boiler parameters
.
- Troubleshoot boiler-related
mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues
.
- Conduct regular checks of
pumps, valves, burners, gauges and safety devices
.
- Maintain boiler
logbooks, operating records and maintenance reports
.
- Ensure compliance with
boiler safety procedures and statutory requirements
.
- Coordinate with maintenance and production teams for smooth boiler operation.
Certification Requirement
Candidates should preferably have a valid
Boiler Attendant Certificate
or relevant
Boiler Operation Engineer (BOE) certification
, depending on the role and statutory requirement.
