Sustainability Consultant
About the Role
We are seeking a Sustainability Consultant to support the growth and delivery of our sustainability and climate advisory business.
You will work with clients across a range of sustainability and climate priorities, develop current opportunities, contribute to tenders and proposals, and build relationships across clients, industry associations, partners and professional networks.
The role is suited to someone who brings both sustainability expertise and strong industry connections, and who wants to progressively build greater client ownership, commercial responsibility and subject-matter expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Growth
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across India and globally through direct outreach, tenders, proposals, industry associations, professional networks, partners and existing client relationships.
- Leverage an established network of industry contacts, associations and other relevant stakeholders to generate and develop new opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients and decision-makers, understand their needs and identify opportunities where the organisation can add value.
- Contribute to proposals, tenders, presentations and client pitches across different teams, helping shape compelling and relevant solutions.
- Support opportunities through the business development cycle, from initial engagement and qualification through to proposal and conversion.
Partners & Market Engagement
- Support existing and prospective partners in developing opportunities, responding to client needs and shaping relevant solutions.
- Build relationships with industry associations, professional bodies and relevant networks to strengthen market engagement and create opportunities.
