Job Overview:

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented, highly proactive
Full-Charge Bookkeeper
to take full ownership of their day-to-day financial record-keeping and month-end close. You will manage financial operations in
Zoho Books
, working alongside leadership to bring accounting up to date and keep books audit-ready. Your primary focus will be ensuring a tight, reliable
month-end close
, reconciling high-volume
COD
and route sales, and maintaining absolute accuracy across
financial statements
.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM EST, with 1 hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities:
- Execute a swift month-end close, ensuring financial reports (P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) are finalized within 7–10 days of month-end
- Maintain accurate daily records, post entries, and perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations in Zoho Books
- Reconcile driver cash and money order collections (COD) against customer invoices across 500+ retail store locations
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, tracking vendor bills,



customer balances, and damaged goods write-offs
- Organize historical ledger data, clear up backlogs, and prepare clean financial records for CPA tax filings and extensions

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a
full-charge bookkeeper
, ideally within wholesale, distribution, or retail sectors
- Direct proficiency with
Zoho Books
(or strong, transferable mastery of
QuickBooks
)
- Demonstrated track record of executing strict month-end close timelines and cash flow tracking
- Robust understanding of COD sales reconciliations and inventory accounting basics
