Role: SAP ABAP with digital payments - Offshore

Duration: 3 months.

Location: Remote

Details: Looking for an offshore ABAP developer - must have digital payments
or credit card payment experience
. This is for an ECC customer. Part-time, with immediate start through November. Support build for a few weeks then part time for testing. Some overlap with US EST required.

Key Responsibilities
- Development:
Write clean, productive, and well-documented ABAP code for SAP ECC.
- Payment Integration:
Build and maintain custom interfaces between SAP ECC and third-party payment gateways or credit card processors.
- Enhancements:
Implement Business Add-Ins (BAdIs), user exits, and enhancements for SD, FI, and MM modules related to payment processing.
- Data Security:
Ensure all credit card and digital payment data handling complies with PCI-DSS standards and data protection laws.
- Debugging & Support:
Troubleshoot, analyze, and fix complex ABAP dump errors, IDoc failures, and payment processing issues.
- Collaboration:
Work with functional consultants, BASIS teams,



and external payment vendors to test and deploy solutions.
- Documentation:
Create technical design specifications, unit test scripts, and deployment documentation.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience:
5+ years of SAP ABAP development experience in SAP ECC.
- Payment Expertise:
Hands-on experience integrating SAP ECC with credit card payment gateways (e.g., CyberSource, Stripe, Adyen, or similar).
- Core ABAP Skills:
Proficiency in Report Programming, SmartForms/Adobe Forms, Dialog Programming, ALV, BAPIs, RFCs, and IDocs/EDI.
- Functional Knowledge:
Good understanding of SAP Financials (FI), Sales and Distribution (SD), and SD/FI integration points for billing and payment card processing.
- Security Standards:
Familiarity with tokenization, encryption, and secure credit card data storage in SAP.
