Site Engineer – Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage road construction activities at the project site.
- Monitor daily work progress and ensure work is completed as per approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
- Coordinate with Project Engineer, Junior Engineers, Surveyor, QA/QC team, subcontractors and labourers.
- Check and control levels, alignment, measurements and quantities of road works.
- Supervise works such as earthwork, subgrade, GSB, WMM, DBM/BC, drainage, retaining structures and interlock works as applicable.
- Conduct daily site measurements and maintain MB/measurement records and daily progress reports.
- Ensure proper material utilization, workmanship and productivity at site.
- Coordinate with the Surveyor for setting out, levels and road alignment.
- Ensure construction is carried out according to PWD/KRFB/KIIFB specifications and approved drawings, where applicable.
- Coordinate with the QA/QC Engineer for inspections,



testing and quality control.
- Identify site issues and coordinate with the Project Engineer for timely solutions.
- Monitor labour, machinery and material requirements and report shortages in advance.
- Prepare daily/weekly progress updates and communicate site requirements to management.
- Ensure proper safety practices and traffic management at the construction site.
- Maintain proper records of site activities, materials, machinery and manpower.
- Should be willing to work at road construction sites in Kerala, including difficult/ghat-road locations.

Preferred Qualification: Diploma/B.Tech in Civil Engineering with relevant road construction site experience.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
