JOB DESCRIPTION – AREA MANAGER – NBFC

Position

Area Manager – NBFC
Department: Business / Operations
Reporting To: Regional Manager / Regional Head

Job Purpose

Responsible for managing the overall business growth, branch operations, collections, portfolio quality, compliance, and team performance of branches within the assigned area.

Key Responsibilities
- Achieve area-wise business, disbursement, AUM, revenue, and profitability targets.
- Manage and monitor the performance of multiple branches and Branch Heads.
- Drive customer acquisition, business development, and cross-selling initiatives.
- Monitor collections, overdue, NPA, and portfolio quality.
- Ensure compliance with Company policies, SOPs, RBI guidelines, KYC/AML, and audit requirements.
- Conduct regular branch visits and performance reviews.
- Identify operational gaps and implement corrective actions.
- Lead, motivate, coach, and develop branch teams.




- Monitor customer service and ensure timely grievance resolution.
- Prepare and submit periodic MIS and performance reports to the Regional Head.

Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM preferred.
- 5–8 years of experience in NBFC/Banking/Financial Services.
- Minimum 2–3 years in a managerial/branch/area-level role preferred.
- Gold Loan/NBFC experience will be an added advantage.
