Role & responsibilities
- Prepare tooling, jig and gauge designs as per process requirements and defined timelines.
- Develop and standardize TFG (Tooling, Fixture & Gauge) designs to achieve First Time Right.
- Review tooling, fixture, jig and gauge concepts with users and relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure timely completion and delivery of tooling designs as per project milestones.
- Develop cost-effective designs through appropriate material selection and standardization.
- Reduce design changes and rework through robust design practices.
- Modify and update tooling, fixture and gauge designs based on TCR requirements within timelines.
- Create ECRs in Windchill for design changes and engineering modifications.
- Create and maintain item codes and tooling lists for individual processes.
- Support improvement of TFG designs through simulation and design optimization.




- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for design validation and implementation.
- Ensure engineering drawings and design documentation are accurate and updated.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Standardization of TFG designs and achievement of First Time Right.
- On-time completion/delivery of TFG procurement and design activities as per milestones.
- Development of cost-effective tooling and fixture designs.
- Timely modification of TFG designs through TCR.
- Improvement of TFG designs through simulation and standardization.
- Reduction in design changes, rework and tooling costs.

Software / Computer Skills
- Creo
- AutoCAD
- MS Office
- Knowledge of Windchill / PLM systems will be an advantage.
