The Billing Engineer will be responsible for preparing, verifying, and managing project bills including RA bills, final bills, subcontractor bills, and client billing documentation. The role involves coordination with site teams, quantity verification, BOQ analysis, and ensuring timely submission and certification of bills.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Billing & Documentation
Preparation and submission of RA Bills and Final Bills.
Verification of quantities as per approved BOQ and drawings.
Preparation of abstract sheets and measurement sheets.
Reconciliation of quantities with site execution.
Preparation of client invoices and subcontractor bills.
2.Quantity Verification
Taking measurements from site and verifying with drawings.
Coordination with site engineers for measurement validation.
Checking deviations and variation quantities.
Maintaining measurement records and backup documentation.
3 Cost & BOQ Management
BOQ study and rate analysis.
Tracking executed quantities vs. BOQ quantities.
Preparation of variation statements.
Monitoring budget vs. actual cost.
4.Coordination
Coordination with site team, PMC, consultants, and client for bill certification.
Follow-up for bill approvals and payment release.
Supporting accounts team with billing clarifications.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of BOQ, rate analysis, and quantity take-off.
Good understanding of civil and interior works.
Proficiency in MS Excel (mandatory).
Knowledge of AutoCAD (preferred).
Familiarity with contract terms and billing procedures.
