Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced
Power BI Business Analyst
to join a strategic, global Power Platform Center of Excellence program with a leading pharmaceutical organization. This role bridges business and technology, translating complex requirements — including pharma R&D; processes — into scalable Power BI and Power Platform solutions.

What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and translate requirements into Power BI solutions
- Create detailed functional specifications for Power BI and Power Platform components
- Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and data privacy standards
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of Power BI solutions and configurations
- Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and support Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming)
- Coordinate UAT and stakeholder sign-off through to deployment

Must-Have Skills:

✅ 5+ years as a Business Analyst with hands-on Power BI expertise

✅ Robust SQL, data modeling, and data integration skills





✅ Solid experience with Agile/Scrum methodology and JIRA

✅ Proven track record writing BRD/FRD, user stories, and acceptance criteria

✅
Pharma R&D; / Life Sciences domain experience
— clinical trials, drug development, regulatory, GxP, or pharmacovigilance (not just general pharma exposure)

Good to Have:

➕ Microsoft SharePoint

➕ Azure / Office 365 ecosystem familiarity

Education:
Bachelor's in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
