About the role

As a Senior Quality Engineer, you’ll be responsible for delivering robust, reliable, and high-performing software solutions that meet the needs of our customers and align with Woolworths’ business objectives. You’ll work closely with engineers, product managers, business analysts, UX/UI designers, and stakeholders to embed quality across the software development lifecycle, contributing to test automation, shift-left practices, and continuous improvement to ensure our software is reliable, scalable, and secure.

What you’ll do
- Drive Quality Across the SDLC:
Drive quality across the software development lifecycle by designing, building, and executing test automation frameworks and quality practices that deliver reliable,



performant software solutions aligned with Woolworths’ business objectives.
- Partner with Product & Business:
Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and engineers to review requirements, shape acceptance criteria, and translate user stories into comprehensive test cases and scenarios that ensure functional and non-functional quality.
- Champion Test Automation & Best Practices:
Champion test automation, shift-left testing, and quality engineering best practices through code reviews, automated test coverage, and CI/CD integration. Promote a culture of quality across the team.
- Drive Innovation & Experimentation:
Stay current with quality engineering trends, tools, and technologies, exploring current approaches to continuously improve test efficiency, coverage, and reliability.
