We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to support our rubber manufacturing and recycling plant. The candidate will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and improvement of mechanical equipment and production machinery.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of industrial machinery, preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain mechanical equipment and machinery used in rubber/reclaim-rubber production.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery.
- Troubleshoot mechanical failures and minimize machine downtime.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure smooth plant operations.
- Inspect pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, bearings, shafts, valves and other mechanical equipment.
- Maintain preventive-maintenance schedules and equipment records.
- Identify recurring mechanical problems and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist in installation, commissioning and modification of recent machinery.
- Ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently.




- Coordinate with technicians, operators and external maintenance vendors.
- Maintain spare-parts requirements and assist with inventory planning.
- Follow company safety, quality and environmental procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and reduce maintenance costs.

Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Candidates from Production, Automobile, Industrial or Polymer/Rubber Engineering backgrounds may also be considered.
- Freshers can apply if they have robust mechanical fundamentals.
- Candidates with manufacturing, rubber, tyre, recycling or process-plant experience will be preferred.
