Role

The Senior Draftsperson provides high-quality technical 2D drafting and 3D modelling support for manufacturing and capital projects across.

This role delivers accurate and compliant drawings, supports engineers and project teams, and ensures work meets drafting standards

Key Responsibility

Drafting and Design Delivery

• Develop 2D drawings and 3D models for both project and operational environments, with a primary focus on process piping

• Support conceptual, detailed and final design documentation

• Ensure all drawings meet company standards, Australian standards and safety-in-design requirements

• Review and approve drawings completed by other draftspersons

Project Coordination

• Work with engineers, project managers and vendors to deliver drawing packages

• Coordinate inputs such as shop drawings, scanning and certification





• Ensure drawings are delivered on time and aligned to project requirements

Team Leadership

• Lead and support up to 3 draftspersons

• Allocate work and monitor team workload

• Provide coaching, feedback and quality review

• Support capability development within the team

Stakeholder Support

• Provide clear guidance on how to request drafting work

• Communicate progress and manage expectations with stakeholders

• Promote drafting services across the business

Quality and Continuous Improvement

• Maintain drafting standards and consistency

• Identify and implement process improvements

• Support productive and cost-effective drafting practices General

• Follow safety, quality and compliance requirements

• Contribute to a positive team environment
