SQL Database Engineer

Datafortune Software Solution is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SQL Database Engineer with 1–2 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting and maintaining SQL-based applications, writing and optimizing SQL queries, and ensuring the stability and performance of production databases. This role requires a strong foundation in SQL development and a willingness to work in night shifts.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, joins, subqueries. and database scripts.




- Provide production support for database related issues, including troubleshooting and resolving incidents.
- Perform data analysis and assist in data migration or ETL activities.
- Work with development and QA teams to ensure database stability and performance.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve technical issues and implement solutions.
- Perform basic query optimization and performance tuning.
- Maintain documentation related to SQL code and support processes.
- Monitor nightly jobs and proactively handle failures or performance lags.

Required Skills
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience with SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
- Strong proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, joins, subqueries, and aggregations.
- Basic knowledge of performance tuning and query optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
