About TANUH:
TANUH (Translational AI for Networked Universal Healthcare) is an AI Centre of Excellence under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, hosted at the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. We develop and deploy AI-driven diagnostics and decision-support tools for early detection and management of high-burden non-communicable diseases (NCDs) across India.
Role Overview:
TANUH is looking for an Events and Programme Intern to support the planning and delivery of its events, workshops, and partner engagements. The role involves working closely with both the programme team and the communications team. This is an agile role, and the intern will be expected to adapt to shifting priorities and take on tasks as required.
Responsibilities:
Support execution of TANUH events, including logistics, vendor coordination, and on-ground delivery.
Support coordination with dignitaries, speakers, and partners on event-related requirements.
Assist with venue, catering, travel,
and accommodation arrangements as needed.
Assist with day-to-day tasks between events, such as scheduling, follow-ups, and any other support required.
Requirements
Requirements:
Interest and experience in event management, coordination and communications
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to adapt quickly and take on tasks as required in a rapid-moving environment
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
Willingness to work on-site during event periods, including outside standard hours when required
Position details:
Location: Bengaluru (work from office, IISc campus)
Duration: 4 months
Stipend: ₹30,000 per month
