Job Summary

Summary: As Arial Engineering scales, we need a Senior Accountant who brings discipline, accuracy and ownership to every financial transaction, report and compliance deadline. A full-spectrum accounting role - from daily bookkeeping and vendor payments to GST filing, TDS compliance and monthly MIS reporting - working directly with leadership. Zoho Books and Tally ERP proficiency is mandatory and will be tested at interview.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Manage end-to-end bookkeeping and accounting entries in Zoho Books and Tally ERP on a daily basis
- Process vendor invoices, sub-contractor bills, purchase orders and payment vouchers with accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) monthly and ensure full GST reconciliation
- Handle TDS computation, deduction, challan payment and quarterly TDS return filing (Form 24Q, 26Q)
- Manage accounts payable and receivable - aging reports, follow-up on outstanding and overdue amounts
- Prepare monthly Profit Loss statements, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements for MD review
- Conduct bank reconciliation statements (BRS) for all company accounts on a monthly basis
- Support statutory, internal and tax audits by preparing schedules and reconciliation statements
- Maintain fixed asset register - additions, disposals, depreciation workings
- Coordinate with project teams on billing, retention amounts and project-wise cost tracking
- Prepare monthly MIS reports covering revenue, expenses,



outstanding and collections for leadership
- Liaise with the CA firm and statutory authorities for compliance matters, notices and filings
- Comply with Arial Engineerings Health, Safety and Environmental procedures.
- Complete any other associated task requested by the management.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications :
- 3-5 years of hands-on accounting experience in a company setting
- Mandatory: proficiency in Zoho Books and Tally ERP - day-to-day operational use
- Strong working knowledge of GST - returns filing, reconciliation, input tax credit management
- Good understanding of TDS provisions under Income Tax
- Proficiency in MS Excel - pivot tables, VLOOKUP, reconciliation sheets, MIS formats
- B.Com, M.Com or equivalent graduate degree in Commerce or Accounting
- CA Inter or CMA Inter is an added advantage but not mandatory
- High attention to detail - zero tolerance for errors in financial records
