Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering; M.E./M.Tech in Transportation/Highway Engineering will be preferred.
The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end highway design activities and should be capable of independently handling design assignments.
Key Requirements:
- Solid experience in highway design for DPR, feasibility and detailed design projects.
- Hands-on experience in highway geometric design, horizontal and vertical alignments, cross-sections, junctions, interchanges, service roads and associated works.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, including corridor modelling, surfaces profiles, assemblies and preparation of design drawings.
- Preparation and review of plan, profile,
cross-section and other highway design drawings.
- Working knowledge of IRC codes, MoRTH specifications and applicable highway design standards.
- Preparation/review of design calculations, BOQs, cost estimates and technical reports.
- Coordination with survey, traffic, structures, geotechnical, hydrology and other discipline teams.
- Ability to independently manage design deliverables and review work prepared by junior engineers.
- Experience with NH/SH/expressway/urban road DPR or detailed design projects will be preferred.
