Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join our global team. You will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and expansion of our enterprise network. This is a key role for a dedicated individual looking to bring their experience and creativity to help drive the business forward. This position is part of a team providing 24x5 staffing with rotational weekend on call support and requires a team player with great communication skills and the flexibility to cover various shifts.

Your Impact

- Provide comprehensive support for our global network infrastructure, including monitoring, alert management, and maintenance (patching, upgrades, and tuning).
- Plan, coordinate, and implement network maintenance activities, including patching, upgrades, and performance optimization.
- Manage and support our core network technologies from both proactive and reactive positions. For: Cisco Meraki Switches, Wireless Access Points, Meraki and Palo Alto firewalls, Global Protect VPN, and Portnox.
- Monitoring services and alerts for: network gear, SaaS services, and perform initial triage for network/SaaS platform issues.
- Managing ticket queues, tickets and escalations
- Lead the setup and configuration of network infrastructure for new office sites from the ground up.
- Act as an escalation point for complex troubleshooting, collaborating with the team and office stakeholders to ensure timely remediation.
- Develop and maintain documentation, runbooks, and support templates.
- Work with a drive for success to ensure the stability and reliability of our network.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts and when required to respond to escalations outside of your scheduled shifts




- Work in a 24x5 shift rotation
- Participate in a weekend on call rotation.

Your Experience

- 3-5+ years of experience supporting network infrastructure in a global enterprise environment.
- Solid understanding of network infrastructure and monitoring principles.
- Proven experience with the setup and configuration of new office sites.
- Maintaining ticket queues, tickets and escalations
- Working with IT operations management (ITOM) software that monitors and alerts on an organization IT infrastructure, from network devices to servers and applications
- Strong understanding strong hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto, Global Protect VPN, and Portnox.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a globally dispersed team and stakeholders.
- A dedicated, hardworking individual with the flexibility to cover shifts in a 24x5 operation with on-call rotation.
- Must have reliable internet when working remotely for this position.

- BA or BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
