Required Skills

- Functional expertise in the healthcare/PBM domain, with the ability to guide design and business decisions.
- Strong hands-on experience with Mainframe/Synon and COBOL, including development, enhancement, and code review.
- Extensive experience with AS400 DB2 databases, including data modeling and performance tuning.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex queries, analysis, and optimization.
- In-depth understanding of AS400 architecture and system design principles.
- Strong knowledge of AS400 job scheduling, monitoring, and performance optimization techniques.
- Proven expertise in production issue analysis, root cause identification, and resolution.
- Experience with impact analysis, modernization initiatives, and system enhancements.

Primary Responsibilities

- Provide functional expertise in the healthcare/PBM domain to guide design and business decisions.
- Develop, enhance, and review Mainframe/Synon and COBOL applications.
- Design, model, and optimize AS400 DB2 databases.




- Perform complex SQL analysis and optimization.
- Apply AS400 architecture and system design principles to support enterprise applications.
- Monitor and optimize AS400 job scheduling and system performance.
- Analyze production issues, identify root causes, and implement resolutions.
- Support impact analysis, modernization initiatives, and system enhancements.

Prior Experience

- Functional expertise in the healthcare/PBM domain, with the ability to guide design and business decisions.
- Solid hands-on experience with Mainframe/Synon and COBOL, including development, enhancement, and code review.
- Extensive experience with AS400 DB2 databases, including data modeling and performance tuning.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex queries, analysis, and optimization.
- In-depth understanding of AS400 architecture and system design principles.
- Robust knowledge of AS400 job scheduling, monitoring, and performance optimization techniques.
- Proven expertise in production issue analysis, root cause identification, and resolution.
- Experience with impact analysis, modernization initiatives, and system enhancements.

AI Skills

All resources are expected to demonstrate baseline proficiency in enterprise-approved AI tools as part of their day-to-day responsibilities. This includes, but is not limited to:

- Consistent Use: Maintain a minimum of 90% weekly usage of AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and other GenAI platforms approved by the enterprise.
- Applied Productivity: Leverage AI tools to enhance coding, documentation, data analysis, and decision-making workflows.
- Continuous Learning: Stay current with evolving AI capabilities and features, and apply them to improve delivery quality and velocity.
