OS Management - Windows server re-installation, Adding/Decommissioning domain, creating scripts for periodic tasks, OS issues, Configure memory dump file, Turning and tweaking OS to get optimal performance. Resolve the complex or escalated issues from L2. Preparing RCAs. Config and troubleshoot the IIS Server, NLB, SSL, WSUS, AV and DNS, GP Templates Creation, Adding or Removing of SPNS

Triage: Generally the L3 is the final level of escalation for all WintelandVMWare related issues, however, as required co-ordinate with the DC TDU team to get expert help, by engaging the respective TAC teams to resolve any product related issues or software bugs

Process::
Prepare and represent the RFCs in the CAB for approval.
perform the incident analysis to identify proactive problem tickets and work on the permanent fix
Gather information from vendor, customer, analysis from the troubleshooting, resolution steps implemented etc. and update the tickets regularly, as per the defined process.
Prepare a detailed shift handover report for the next shift engineer




Constantly track tickets for SLA adherence and escalate on deviations as defined in the process.
Server Administration
Deploy and configure DNS and DHCP, implement GPOs for user and computer management
Set up and manage file shares with appropriate security permissions
Troubleshoot common server connectivity and performance issues
VMware, HyperV
Deploy and configure VMware vSphere or Hyper-V host clusters
Configure the vMotion/Live Migration, dVS and port groups
Manage VM templates and automated deployments
HCI
Understand the integration of compute, storage, and networking in HCI
Know basic concepts of software-defined storage and networking
MS Azure
Understand cloud computing concepts and service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
Recognize core Azure services (VMs, Storage, Networking)
Understand Azure subscription and resource group concepts
