The Maintenance Executive/Technician is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning, repair, and upkeep of all hospital infrastructure, equipment, and utilities. The role ensures a secure and comfortable environment for patients, staff, and visitors while complying with hospital safety standards and NABH guidelines.

- Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventive, routine, and corrective maintenance of hospital electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.

- Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, generators, air conditioners, water pumps, and other facility systems.

- Maintain hospital infrastructure, including doors, windows, lifts, and other civil structures.

- Monitor and ensure proper functioning of emergency systems such as fire alarms, emergency lighting, and backup power supply.

- Coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs, installations, and maintenance contracts.

- Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies.

- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from hospital departments.

- Ensure compliance with hospital safety protocols, fire safety, and NABH standards.

- Maintain maintenance logs, records, and reports for management review.





- Support hospital during audits, inspections, and emergency preparedness drills.

- Qualifications Experience

- High school graduate or ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering (preferred).

- 0-3 years of experience in hospital/facility maintenance or similar environment.

- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and civil systems is preferred.

- Skills Competencies

- Strong technical knowledge in maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and civil systems.

- Ability to troubleshoot and solve maintenance issues efficiently.

- Physical stamina and ability to work in varied hospital environments.

- Attention to detail, safety consciousness, and adherence to protocols.
