Responsibilities

- Test Strategy Planning: Define test scope, strategy, and approach for IBP programs.
- Prepare test plans, scenarios, and detailed test cases.
- Identify required master data and transactional data for testing.
- Support test estimation and resource planning.
- Functional Testing: IBP Modules - Execute testing across IBP Demand Planning; Forecast model validation; Demand adjustments and planning views; Key figure calculations; IBP Supply Planning; Supply planning runs and constraints; Capacity planning validation; Order fulfillment scenarios; SOP Integrated Planning; Monthly planning cycle validation; Cross-functional alignment (Demand, Supply, Inventory); IBP typically supports integrated planning across Demand, Supply, Inventory processes.
- Data Validation Analytical Testing: Validate Key figures (KF); Planning operators and algorithms; Forecast accuracy outputs; Perform data reconciliation between IBP and ERP systems.
- Integration Testing: Validate IBP integration with SAP S4HANA ECC, APO,



SCM tools; Validate Master data replication; Data flows between systems; Support testing across middleware integration layers (e.g., CPI, BTP).
- Defect Management: Log, track, and prioritize defects; Participate in defect triage discussions; Ensure timely resolution and closure.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with Supply chain planners; Business stakeholders; Functional and technical teams; Support SIT and UAT execution.
- Reporting Documentation: Prepare Test summary reports; Test execution and defect dashboards; Maintain Test artifacts, RTM, and reusable assets; Ensure audit-ready documentation and traceability.

Requirements

- Functional Skills: Solid understanding of SAP IBP (Demand Planning, Supply Planning); SOP processes and planning cycles; Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes.
- Technical Skills: Integration knowledge with SAP S4HANA ECC; Understanding of IBP data models and key figures; Exposure to IBP Excel Add-in; Fiori; CPI integration tools (preferred).
- Testing Skills: SIT; UAT; Regression testing; Test case design; execution; Data validation; reconciliation; Defect lifecycle management.
