Main Responsibilities :
Proposal Phase:
- Understanding Client specification requirements related to piping, make comments, clarifications, deviations.
- Pipe Sizing and conceptual designing/visualizing of Skid in 3D.
- Guide and support 3D/2D designer for assigned project/proposal.
- Quantity estimation for piping & fittings.
- Proposal level drawings, Load inputs to Structural design.
Project Execution Phase:
- Responsible for
- Complete Piping engineering of Skid, Module and Process Waste Heat Boiler
- 3D Model review of piping, supports, equipment, skids, clash checks, model reviews and finalization, getting approval from client for 3D models.
- Preparing Technical specifications, evaluating vendor offers, checking and approving vendor drawings and documents.
- Meeting piping engineering deliverables according to work plan/Schedule
- Supervising and managing the piping design through subcontractors.
- Overall Managing the Skid Project and co-ordinate with other groups for engineering completion.
- Providing inputs to steel structural engineer: Piping & Equipment loads to Steel.
- Ensure quality control of all engineering and design work related to piping engineering.
- Organize 3D model review Internal/Client. Comment tag closers.
- As built documentation.
- Attending Customer / Consultant queries regarding Piping & Skid engineering
- Disposal of shop feedback, site feedback.
- Benefit to have: Flexibility Analysis calculations using CAESAR-II software, Calculation reports.
Essential Requirements:
- Familiarity with design of Skids, Modules, waste heat boilers
- Knowledge about Indian Standards (BIS), IBR, EN codes, ASME codes and standards
- Experience in piping engineering for skids, modules, process waste heat boilers.
- Experience in managing piping design & engineering through engineering subcontractors.
- Experience in 3D model reviews.
