We are seeking a Junior Data Specialist to join our BFSI Research team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, curating, and maintaining datasets that support financial research and analysis of BFSI entities. Key Responsibilities

- Collect, organize, and validate financial data from internal systems and external sources.
- Develop structured datasets to support financial research, financial modelling, and risk assessment.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and completeness.
- Maintain documentation and metadata for datasets to support audit and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to understand and fulfil data requirements.




- Monitor datasets for updates, ensuring timely availability of accurate financial information.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
- Foundational knowledge of financial concepts, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow analysis.
- Proficiency with spreadsheet applications (Excel, Google Sheets)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Skills

- Familiarity with financial data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters).
- Experience with financial reporting or visualization tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
