Job Title: Manual Tester (13 Years Experience)

Shift Time: 10:00am - 7:30pm

Job Summary

- We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Tester to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications.
- The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in test case design, execution, defect reporting, and a strong understanding of software testing fundamentals.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Execute test cases and ensure test coverage across the application.
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with developers, stakeholders, and QA leads to ensure timely bug resolution.
- Participate in test planning, review meetings, and sprint activities (Agile/Scrum).
- Perform sanity and smoke testing on new builds.
- Validate UI/UX alignment with requirements.
- Prepare test reports and maintain documentation.




- Ensure adherence to testing best practices and quality standards.

Required Skills

- 1-3 years of experience in manual functional testing.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
- Experience writing clear and concise test cases.
- Good understanding of bug lifecycle and test methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA, QC, etc.).
- Basic understanding of database testing (SQL queries).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Positive analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good to have exposure to API testing (Postman).
- Knowledge of automation basics (Selenium).
- Experience with mobile or web testing.
- Understanding of version control tools like Git.

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
